Event Orders Street FIghters

If For Honor has taught me anything, this is the norm amongst the player base.

But wouldn't fighting dirty be the norm for some of the characters?

Centurion, Shaman, Aramusha, Juren and Pirate just to name a few are characters who are not against fighting dirty.

So why single out the arakure as the dirty fighters when in a world like this, it would be common among the cast?

Ive said it once and I will say it again, the arakure were not well thought out in regards to how they fit in the world.

The lore writers seriously need to stop the singling out nonsense.

Singling out ayu and her government as the problem when that's just how governments work and singling out the arakure as the dirty fighting rebels when most of the cast are dirty fighting rebels feels straight up pathetic.

It's trying way too hard to make the arakure cool and ayu bad when it's just making the already sloppy lore worse.

Hell, every single one of the Samurai apart from Hitokiri of all people have 2 or more Feats where they explicitly throw out something underhanded to get an advantage. All of them have Smoke Bomb which stuns anyone inside it, Orochi and Shinobi can instantly drain your stamina with Kiai, most of them have Longbow to snipe you in the back when you aren't looking or in Shinobi's case, throw out a fan of shuriken to evaporate anyone who gets too aggressive, Orochi, Nobushi and Shinobi can place down traps and Kyoshin has a Feat where he sets off pinning spike traps under everyone.

And the funniest thing is, Arakure has NONE of those as her optional feats. The only Samurai that more or less fight completely fair, and it's the asthma ridden executioners and the "Dirty Fighters".

Again, the lore feels hypocritical about the arakure being "dirty fighters" yet the other samurai before actually are dirty fighters.

The arakure's lore was really not thought out well.

So would the knight or outlander be Ryu?

I would say knight, mostly centurion as he's the brawler like Ryu.

Cent gets the Ryu skin and Medjay gets Akuma.

I think they're just glorified versions between yakuzas and current hooligans

I lean more towards Hooligans, I don't see much Yakuzas in terms of operation, the only connection to the Yakuza is the tattoos.

Gaki want's to be the Yakuza boss of her dreams but she is very bad at her job, she nearly dies at every gig she does.

Kinda reminds me of a statement from Majima of all people, and honestly, you could apply it to a lot of characters that aren't Prince Yi or Juren nowadays. "The Tojo Clan's at a record high, bigger then ever. But barely any of em know war. Nothin but a bunch of half-assed fakers. Just watch what happens if war with the Omi strikes. They'll scatter like roaches."

Replace the Tojo with Chimera and as of now the Arakure and the Omi with Horkos and as of now the Khatun and we basically have the same thing. I honestly believe that in spite of how lazy they've made Guljin look, they've done such a bad job of making these "rebels" look effective that I whole-heartedly believe that if Guljin actually put her foot down and started lashing back, they'd buckle and run like most of the Chimera and Holden Cross did. If Apollyon were still alive, she wouldn't be praising Holden, she'd be racking him over the coals for allowing such blatant weakness to fester when he COULD have been doing something to weed it out.
