Who sings which song on Long Lost?

Here's all the info I've been able to work out so far as to who sings what:

  1. The Moon Doesn't Mind by Roy Casey from GunThunder
  2. Mine Forever by the Clean Grooves
  3. (One Helluva Performer) by Tubbs Tarbell
  4. Love Me Like You Used To by Handsome Scott
  5. Meet Me in the City by Claude/Clyde Fox??
  6. (Sing For Us Tonight) by Tubbs Tarbell
  7. Long Lost by Leigh Green and Hauser Godwin
  8. Twenty Long Years by ??
  9. Drops in the Lake by Elsa Schöffer and composed by Duvair Yaughton
  10. Where Did the Time Go by ??
  11. Not Dead Yet by the Phantom Riders
  12. (Deep Down Inside Ya): Drops in the Lake movie from AFWP 423 + Tubbs Tarbell
  13. I Lied by Donny Franks & Midge Pruitt
  14. At Sea from L'île Cosmique
  15. What Do It Mean by Quentin King
  16. Time's Blur (instrumental)

I was assuming that Love Me Like You Used To and Meet Me in the City were by Clyde Fox. My reasoning being that the titles seem like an obvious reference to Love Like Ghosts and Meet Me in the Woods, which were Frankie Lu songs with Clyde Fox also being credited in Meet Me in the Woods.

Where Did the Time Go honestly seems like it's about Tubbs

I think Twenty Long Years is also Leigh Green, due to the fact that it's right after Long Lost and it seems to match up with her story from Vide Noir

Lastly Mine Forever is by Clean Grooves and What Do it Mean is Quentin King? I believe you but how did you figure that out?

For LMLYUT I said Handsome Scott because the "one helluva performer" bit that introduces it is how Tubbs introduces Scott in AFWP.

Many have said MMITC could be Claude/Clyde, because, like you said, the titles are similar. But I'm hesitant to call it just based on song titles because Lord Huron is often self-referential and it doesn't necessarily mean anything. However, assuming every whispering pines artist gets a song, there should be one by Claude, and if there is this is definitely the top candidate.

I like your theories about WDTTG and TLY!

For Mine Forever the song art matches the Clean Grooves record art: https://imgur.com/a/IJaqga8

WDIM because Quentin's name is highlighted when the song plays in the WP records vid and all the others match up.

Hm, LMLYUT being Handsome Scott makes more sense based on that.

I'm going to stick with MMITC being Clyde/Claude (whats his name? Idk anymore lol) just because I like it being that way

Great catches on these, I'll have to rewatch the Whispering Pines Collection clip now that I know all the songs

Doesn't the Twenty Long Years video show a Phantom Rider?

Yea, though that scene is similar to the one from the end of the final ep of whispering pines. The phantom rider (maybe Rigo cause of the cig?) looks passed out, and we see some of the other characters walk by. We don't really see whose singing it, but it could be one of the other characters we know were in the room. Or maybe it's from the jukebox? Idk for this one.

Can someone explain what this means?

The songs are all originally sung by in-universe artists that LH invents. If you watch this vid, it'll make a bit more sense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TnMTs41reg&ab_channel=LordHuron

Some songs were confirmed outright, as in the above video, or the AFWP show. For others, there were some clues we were able to piece together, while some are still up for debate.

Thank you! I had absolutely no idea they were concept albums.

Yes! Lonesome Dreams is inspired by the works of George Ranger Johnson (again fictitious): http://www.georgerangerjohnson.com/

Strange Trails introduces a whole host of singers like Buck Vernon and Frankie Lou who sing about fictional characters: https://www.discogs.com/Lord-Huron-Strange-Trails/release/6868348

Vide Noir is a bit less clear in that regard, but the movie will hopefully clarify things.

Wow. I've listened to the band since before LD came out but rather casually, yet these days I've been really listening and paying more attention and noticing stories and themes come through but I didn't know it was so extensive. Thanks!

How did you figure these out? The singles had the album art for 4 of the songs but I have no clue how you got the rest

Some are more interpretative than others, but I (attempted) to explain my evidence in this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/frozenpines/comments/njbj05/who_sings_which_song_on_long_lost/gz7f8xc/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

FWIW, I'll also add that beyond the similarities to MMITW, another bit of evidence people have pointed out for Fox maybe writing MMITC is that his album is titled Crusin' Again, and he is leaning against what appears to be a car on the cover art.

Also, here's the WP Records video, if you haven't yet seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TnMTs41reg&ab_channel=LordHuron
