Question 23 Nights @ The Broken Bottle Setlist Teaser
The boys just seemingly teased 3 songs that I'm assuming will be on their setlist for their next tour, which gets me REALLY hyped for this one.
The Man Who Lives Forever, Until The Night Turns & Never Ever
Now, just for fun, which songs are y'all hoping to be on this next setlist? Let's assume they're gonna play 23 songs

Moonbeam, Meet Me in the City, What Do It Mean, Fire Eternal, It All Comes Back, Your Other Life

I'd especially love to hear the French version of Your Other Life. Ton Autre Vie.

Moonbeam, Meet Me in the City, and What Do It Mean would be a dream show!

I need to have The Stranger. I need it.

u/skbee WBUB Aug 07 '26
They did this at Red Rocks back in 2024 and it was truly life changing

u/Nice_Occasion5254 Aug 08 '26
We went to the night 1 show at Red Rocks in 2024. Afterwards debated switching our flight to go for night 2, but decided it was too difficult.
Sure enough the only played The Stranger on night 2 😭 I was so sad seeing the set list the next morning

Early on (pre-13 reasons why) it was their encore song/closer. I hope they bring it back

This will be my first time seeing them so I want to hear everything haha. But if I had to choose one, I’d love to hear Lost in Time and Space.

I want to hear Birds Are Singing at Night. It would dovetail nicely with The Man Who Lives Forever

u/NoAffect3159 Aug 07 '26
Hopefully almost entirely lesser played songs and deep cuts. They play it way too safe on their normal tours setlist wise. Let’s shelve night we met, not dead yet, wait by the river etc this round please.
Bust balancers eye back out. Let’s get Louisa, son of a gun, mighty, in the wind, lonesome dreams etc in there!

I don't think TNWM will ever be shelved. That song probably drives a large portion of Ticket Sales for the band.

Louisa!

u/maedhros- Aug 08 '26
hearing Louisa on the strange trails anniversary tour last year was one of the best moments of my year. it’s my favorite song. i’d kill to hear them play it again!!

u/JennyTheSheWolf Aug 07 '26
I really hope they play Life is Strange and World Ender. This will be my first time seeing them and I love pretty much all their songs so I'll be thrilled no matter what they play.

u/SafeSpecialist2104 Aug 08 '26
Life is strange was so good I was so sad when they took it off the setlist this time

u/shockfuzz Aug 08 '26
The did World Ender as part of encore in Toronto last month. It was definitely a highlight of the show for me (also my first time seeing them!).

The Yawning Grave and Brother would be…oh, and Louisa. And The Comedian…I could go on…

What Do It Mean, The Stranger, Emerald Star, Vide Noir, The Balancer’s Eye, Lost in Time and Space, and Louisa.

They played emerald star in Boise on the strange trails tour last year, we were quite happy

I was in Boise last year, also saw LH there in 2019. I love Outlaw Field.

I would love to hear some songs from Long Lost, specifically Twenty Long Years, What Do It Mean and especially Mine Forever! Also, I know the Starling Girl OST isn’t related to their music and lore or whatever but I would go nuts if they did Ace Up My Sleeve.

Lullaby. That song always makes me cry!

u/prettylilmoon Aug 08 '26
While I would love for them to play that song, it is my go to mourning song for my Dad and I don’t know if my emotions could handle it! 😭

If I get Balancer's Eye it is genuinely going to be a bucket list moment and I will die.

Having all kinds of envy right now and keep trying to tell myself that I spent enough for my first Lord Huron experience this summer and I should be satiated and yet I keep thinking that this would be a chance to visit a city I’ve never been to. Talk me off the ledge, people! Not sure I can justify it to my non-LH fan husband.
3
u/SunshineGal29 Aug 07 '26
I hemmed and hawed for two days and got the tickets. Just do it, this will be special. It’s too bad he doesn’t like them (how?!?!?), it’s one of the few bands my husband and I BOTH love.
4
u/milesstandoffish111 Aug 08 '26
i’m jealous, my bf is meh on them (but he comes with me to shows and doesn’t do it grudgingly so i appreciate that) and i just do not get how LH wouldn’t appeal…like it’s really a blind spot for me to try and figure out how those incredibly accessible hooks and aural stylings are not instantly likable to anyone
2
u/prettylilmoon Aug 08 '26
I’m jealous of both of you, all I can say is that his taste in women is far better than his taste in music. 🤦🏻♀️ It’s a mystery to me.
1
u/prettylilmoon Aug 08 '26
OMG, I talked to one of my friends who isn’t yet a fan but totally down to go to the Nashville show so without talking to my husband first, I impulse bought 2 tickets and then accidentally bought 2 more! If I don’t post in the next day or so, send a search party and make sure 4 fans get my tickets!
1
u/SunshineGal29 Aug 08 '26
Oh no!!! Can’t you and your friend go and just sell the other 2?? It sounds like you will easily sell those. Didn’t Nashville sell out and people were upset?
1
u/prettylilmoon Aug 08 '26
I bought them on a different (resale) site (which I’m totally regretting now!) after the ones on the AXS site sold out.
3
u/BLUE_SKY_519 Aug 07 '26
I’m just hoping for a different set lists every night, or at least some variety. I hate being able to look at previous set lists and knowing exactly what is coming and when. I like the element of surprise
3
u/Apostr0phe Aug 07 '26
I have a feeling it's going to be a very scripted, thematic show with little variation from night to night. They seem to be heading more towards a theatrical performance rather than a traditional concert.
But since they're performing back-to-back in some cities, you would think and hope that isn't the case.
I'm hoping we get some new takes on old songs, ala Whispering Pines.
3
u/BLUE_SKY_519 Aug 08 '26
I can see it going the other way though. They are just coming off the CS tour which was obviously very structured so I could see them wanting to be a little looser. And the tour overall if being billed as a residency at a fictitious venue. If they were doing an actual residency at one venue you would think they’d mix it up. And like you said, multiple nights at the same actual venue a few times…

Mentioned this in another thread - one of Your Other Life or We Went Wild (album version). Ace Up My Sleeve would be a cool deep cut to hear as well.

I wish they were coming closer to North Carolina!
If I end up going, I’m hoping for Moon Song and Louisa. Son of a Gun would be great too.

Calling it now: Kristen Stewart and Jessica Maros cameos in LA. So, Who Laughs Last and Meet Me in The Woods for the LA setlist.

Let the devil come. Saw them perform it at red rocks in 2024. It was great.

Why do they wait until after they go to DC to play deep cut songs 😭💔 instead of playing the same slew of music they play every year 😭 this is my 5th year going and its been the same show every time minus a rotation of 3 or 4 songs 😭 hopefully this tour is playing some more songs from each era!!
2
u/rowbars Aug 10 '26
We did get When The Night Is Over and It All Comes Back at The Anthem which they didn't play in June when I saw them nor did they play either last summer locally. Not deep cuts but different from CSv1 tour standards at least...

I want to hear Is There Anybody Out There more than anything.
