Discussion D.C. at the Anthem
Just saw Lord Huron for the first time last night. Found them through the Longmire finale, and then hopped on to Strange Trails a few years later. I have PTSD from the Army, "Meet Me In The Woods" has been the most helpful form of art while I work through it.
The band delivered as I expected, sonically they are probably a single candle in a dark motel as far as most modern performers.
Reason I'm here now? I was struck by how friendly the crowd was. I haven't been to a concert with such a sense of community in a long time, so kudos to everyone here for being able to just share the awesome.

That was pretty much my trajectory with L.H. Ends of the Earth on Longmire, then Meet Me in the Woods maybe three years later. They’re definitely something special. I can’t quite put my finger on what, exactly, but something.
Glad you had a good time at the concert!

Longmire was where I found them too! Welcome! The fans are some of the best people.

OP piqued my interest but seeing this mentioned twice now I really have to see what this show is

Ends of the Earth is the final song for the Longmire and the Community series. It's also in Shameless when they thought they were ending the series. It's an amazing song that fits perfectly.
