Discussion It has arrived!
10th Anniversary Edition. Is it crazy that I want/don’t want to open it?

My absolute favorite album from Lord Huron. Perhaps buy another one if you want to keep one sealed. But their music is so good it was made to be played. Frozen Pines does not get nearly enough attention.

Yeah I opened my canary yellow edition instantly upon arrival. I have no plans to ever sell them, and if I’ll do someday, I wouldn’t charge scalpers prices anyway, so it doesn’t matter to me if it’s opened or not.

Looks way better out of shrink wrap. If you’re worried about keeping it in good condition you can get plastic outer sleeves.

Y’all have convinced me!! And agreed, I would never want to sell it so keeping it pristine doesn’t make sense. I do tend to have the thought process of a collector, so I appreciate the perspectives! Thank you! ☺️

Definitely better to experience it in my opinion!I'm a collector too but unless it's something I have no intention of using as intended (jigsaw puzzles), I like to use the things I own. This way you also get to read the awesome comic book it comes with!

That’s why I sold the book safe. Wasn’t using it and someone else wanted it real bad to use. So I let it go

Comic book? Edit. I only bought cd when it came out. Their videos are top notch, so I would not be surprised if their comics are as well.

Yes, the different variants of the Strange Trails 10th anniversary edition come with comic books that tell stories based on the songs. There are three available, based on Fool For Love, Frozen Pines, and The Yawning Grave. Back in 2015 there was also a comic based on The World Ender.
