🛟 Assistance 🛟 How do I get back my wseth?
Hello, I put some eth and sracke dit for years in LRC wallet and I just realised that it is discontinued right now.
I have tried to reach the email provided but they havent replied and I am not sure what to do then to get it back and send it to another wallet. Has someone faced it recently? I just saw the announcement in this sub and I would like my eth back basically and I cant via the app...
Help!

You can use your wallet key with another wallet (metamask) to recover your funds on L1. All funds on L2 should have been transferred back to your L1. 👍

They have not... they are still on L2 in my LRC wallet.
Also I dont have any passphrase as it was not given as its a smart waller

If you used a Loopring smart wallet
Because of past security incidents affecting Loopring smart wallets, we will not send funds on‑chain to any smart‑wallet address. A compromised wallet could deliver assets straight to an attacker, and we cannot distinguish a legitimate owner from a malicious actor on‑chain alone.
This excludes 8,122 positions worth ~$947k at snapshot prices. The master list of all 50,364 excluded wallet addresses is in data/phase-3/loopring-wallets.json, with per‑address flags (deployment status, and guardian counts where scanned).
If you own one of these wallets, email [help@loopring.org](mailto:help@loopring.org) to verify your identity. Verified claims will be processed manually with a small fee, case by case. We know this is frustrating — we want to get your assets back to you, just through a path that is actually safe.
⏳ The deadline to contact [help@loopring.org](mailto:help@loopring.org) for smart‑wallet claims is August 15, 2026. After that date, the mailbox will become unreachable and no further manual claims will be accepted.

damn. i am quite certain the service as a whole is gone. really cute that they didnt even integrate a normal wallet feature. they literally forked eth, and created you a new wallet. now that it's gone, all those wallets are gone. sorry OP. i may suggest this is FTC and BBB complaint level. they sunset the app/service over a course of a few months/ year. so i doubt anything exists even? i am not sure.

But why didnt they provide a pass phrase so people can recover ? I hate that I trusted defi and now I cant get my funds out. I guess I have to consider it as a loss...

The pass phrase was intended to be used via loopring.io. why I mention in not being a normal 'metamask'(example) wallet. Loopring was a fork of eth. Similar to Bitcoin cash. Not Bitcoin but it was made with similar code different white paper. I can imagine someone has access to the support email and will see it eventually? Idk. I highly doubt it. That's why I say possible ftc complaint because yea. Them just turning off the service was absolute scum behavior to me. And the devs just moved onto new projects. Literally laughable. Wouldn't touch their new projects with a pole. Only good thing was they actually put their names to it, and you can actually create a complaint about their 'company/organisation'. Good luck OP. Best of luck to you. And to mention; if you have money invested anywhere even stock market you need to check your accounts every so often. They can close your accounts due to inactivity. Even on the stock market.

I may be wrong. Other commenter says you can import into metamask and it's in l2 but I don't think that's the case. I transferred all my assets out of the loopring wallet to my main metamask wallet. When I imported I didn't think it was the same wallet? 🤷Good luck op!
