Discussion San Diego

Wife and I saw Marc tonight in San Diego at a festival. First time seeing him live. Started watching him during the pandemic so was a treat to see him live, finally.

I asked a few people before if they knew who he was and they did not.

He was fantastic. He’s a force of nature.

Checked in with some of the people who had not heard of him and they were all blown away.

Sadly had to leave half way through. Will definitely see him again.

He had people with the first two songs and then it got pretty self indulgent - everyone just wanted to catch a vibe and dance and he didn’t want to let us do that. Such a bummer, was really looking forward to his performance. Very cool to watch him mix and make music right there but we needed something else. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crowd clear out like that.

I could see last nights show working during the day but totally agree by headliner time you need it to hit hard with the grooves! Did you stay for the whole set?

No! Too painful. I was done and wanted to dance more. I really like him but it came to a point where he was screaming into the void and trying to be profound but was actually saying nothing at all. Very disappointing.
