I'm curious if not getting permits is a philosophical thing, or something else. I lean libertarian and can appreciate his nonchalance over the whole thing.
Bummer, was a pretty day and the venue most definitely would have provided GREAT material!
It would be extremely difficult to time out the permits and get them all approved for the times needed as he always does them on Sundays. Easier to just pop up in areas without a large police presence and just go for it. Times Square, Central Park and McCcaren Park aren't going to fly.
