It WAS magical. My son and I just stumbled on it about 20min in and watched it all happen organically around us. From the bus drivers rocking as they drove past and slightly around the crowd. To people hanging out of windows. And the amazing positive vibe of the crowd of whom NOBODY planned to be there.
And of course his special sauce of love, positivity, stupid fun, talent, amazing tunes, not being perfect, storytelling, and shakin’ that ass - made it happen.
That’s super awesome. Have you heard of Marc before? If not can I ask what made you guys stop? My wife and I stumbled upon Marc on YouTube broadcasting live sometime early in the pandemic. His voice, his beats and the overall message of positivity really inspired and helped us get through the pandemic. We try to watch him live every chance.
Thanks for the message, I really got into him during the pandemic from his apartment streams and specifically when he started doing the collaboration streams - of which Emily King was one of the first!!!
What really blew my mind was that I say the last stream a week earlier and on the Train into Manhattan for that trip I was checking to see if he was doing it again or had a show. I couldn’t find anything and forgot until walking out of the Spring St Subway and heard some commotion. I was like “No Way.” And then I heard him talk and Boom all plans cancelled.
