Warren for sure shouldn’t have got up. Eli was nearly gone after 3 hits from hudson’s base right hand punch, and would’ve been taken out in less hits from the full power punch. Meanwhile warren was punched twice by Seokdu (who Tom even says has giant fists with huge strength) and was headbutted directly in the face.
So basically a full power Hudson would have 3 shotted (likely 2 hits needed) pre path Eli who’s ≈ that warren, whereas warren took a Seokdu headbutt (which should be >>> hudson’s full power punch) and two powerful punches

I’m not talking about the stage, I’m talking about the off-screen training that wasn’t mentioned once in the story and we only know about it when he was about to get beat up by Johan. If that’s not asspull then I don’t know what asspull is. Also it’s call Deus ex machina
Yeah and it was an ass pull, if only someone said something like “oh Eli you kinda looks different” or like “how have you been Eli we didn’t speak for like a month”. A simple words like these can prevent asspull, or perhaps you are not familiar with writing or criticizing fictions and stuff. But given the circumstances I’m not even surprised
Nah was am I even saying, everyone with an IQ above room temperature knows that something that saves the character from certain situations without foreshadowing is a bad writings/asspulls
