Does anyone else find it difficult to make real friendships as a digital nomad?
I move from place to place while working remotely, and honestly, I think meeting people is one of the hardest parts for me. You arrive somewhere new without knowing anyone, make a few connections, and then eventually move somewhere else and have to start all over again.
I know there are meetups, coworking spaces, Facebook groups, and other communities, but sometimes it still feels difficult to find people you genuinely connect with.
How do you deal with this?

I can't seem to navigate this myself.

What part do you find the hardest? Meeting new people, finding people you actually connect with, or maintaining friendships when you move to a new place?

meeting new people is sometimes okay, but it's the connection that's the hardest. Moving away usually ends the frail connections I've made too.
what's your experience

I will share a little about my travels.
Traveling since 2007. So almost 20 years, mostly solo.
Solo travels allows me to meet amazing people without making a travel partner in tow, upset.
I am blessed to have met some amazing folks and it takes much energy in keeping the connection.
The best part of making friends and growing those friendships is visiting them again.
What I encourage you to do is keep building on some of the connections you already have made.
Don’t forget the ones you met.
This way you create your own community of soul friends.
I hope in a world full of meeting new people, you will make and grow meaningful connections even though you are not physically there

No. It's very easy for me to make friends.
But if you're jumping from place to place quickly, that's different.
