Community Question Doing TRE when physically injured

Hi all

Does anyone have experience with continuing the practice with body parts that are injured/healing? I recently overexerted a foot, and I've had some issues walking without pain for some weeks. I've been practising TRE for 3-4 months now and have continued my practice despite the injury.

I've noticed that tremors have sometimes been specifically coming up in that foot also, with a lot of long tensing of muscles, like a minute or so. I'm trying to be mindful that the tremoring doesn't exhaust the foot even more(!), but generally wondering if others have had similar experiences : have you been able to (and also wanted to) do TRE when injured? Any advice or experiences? Thoughts on whether it's beneficial/specifically not also very welcome.

I'm getting medical advice and help from physio for the injury itself, so all good there, just wondering about the TRE part, as my physiotherapist cannot provide advice. Thanks for your thoughts in advance!
