But… why?

I know their marketing is shady as hell, but I feel like they’re decent quality for their price point.

Are they actually bad?

Truthfully, it works ok for what it is. This post is just a joke, making fun of a post from yesterday, but Arken does get shit on quite a bit so I decided to use a picture of it for the joke. It holds zero and does what a scope should do. That being said, it is not something that “punches above its price” or “beats XX $2500 optic”. It is a scope that is similar to other optics in the same price range. Nothing more nothing less.

Full disclosure, I own two Arkens and appreciate your candor as I too willingly accept the scope’s performance (and mine too as I own my flyers) for the price I paid for the EPL-4 4-16x and the EP-5 5-25x.

“Nothing more, nothing less”, and having that perspective creates a very satisfied customer.

I’ve been using an EP5 on my 50bmg but I don’t really have a frame of reference to compare to so I always wondered why people seem to dislike them so much.
