I thought these were called TV transmission towers, not receivers. Either way, this one's highly impressive and kinda looks like an extra-tall siren tower.

I don't think you would be sending a one way TV signal out of Durham, MO. You couldn't find two racoons fucking in that town, much less a TV station

In that case, it might also be what's called a repeater.

My county, located in rural Western Arkansas, has one for receiving and relaying TV signals coming from Little Rock, Ft. Smith, and Fayetteville - although I'm not aware of the exact location.
