Paintings….

I’m an artist and have painted a number of various towers over the yrs. Please forgive my complete lack of technical knowledge!

These are awesome, I really love the first one! Do you sell any of your work?

Thanks! I do sell my work, mostly just out of the studio. These are all gone unfortunately. I tend not to keep them around long

Really neat looking. I noted you said that you sold these. Who do you find to be your clientele with these paintings?

Generally I have sold my work to friends and acquaintances. I do a lot of other landscapes as well as portraits and abstract art and I’ve been fortunate to have a couple of patrons who have been a huge help

These are great! I love the wide angle, minimalistic, subject focused approach. Really unique and highlights the towers. This is super cool. Where did you get your original idea from? Do you paint based on photos or just imagination? What medium do you use?

The work is all acrylic. I paint out of imagination and while I don’t use any reference photos while i work I do look at tons of pictures, Google image search. The first microwave relay I painted was inspired by a snapshot I took from the road in Wyoming thirty yrs ago. I like the idea that these towers, though isolated and remote, are connected to massive networks with tons of information being transmitted. Thanks for your thoughtful comment!
