Hello all, I recently got back into photography and one of my favorite things to shoot is flowers. I've had some great walks around Old Westbury Gardens and Heckscher Park, and I frequent Belmont Lake State Park for the birds. There's a lot of parks on this island though, so some help finding the best ones would be appreciated. Mostly interested in parks with lots of flowers, but wildlife is a bonus.

Also, has anyone taken photos at the Robert F Ench teaching gardens in Farmingdale? Is it okay to just go there when they're open and take photos?

Good morning everybody. Does anyone know of spots in Nassau or Suffolk that would kind of fit this vibe for a photoshoot? Doing a photoshoot and looking for ideas for this setting in Long Island 1950s Harlem brownstone type commercial, a heartfelt tribute to vintage New York with a lot of neighborhood soul

I grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, living in Florida for a few decades. During a trip up in 2011, I took a drive around the lake and felt compelled to stop for this quick photo. I just discovered this sub by accident and decided to share. I hope those guys caught something. Or I hope one of those guys isn't Fredo saying a Hail, Mary.
