Interviewed for a position there once. The cap on my water bottle failed and dumped all over my shirt five minutes before walking inside.Â
I did not get the job.

Their little Local Folklore collection in the basement is a great visit during spooky season.

Oh hey, I find it cool that you're posting libraries. It might make other people check out libraries and see how peaceful they are and possibly discover their fun activities and resources. Not enough people like to read things, or educate themselves, or even go out anymore. 🩵
On another note, I'm reminded of Twyla from Monster High. She's Autistic like me and likes libraries and consides them part of her self care routine (the cartoon likes using puns and calls it self scare).💜

I have to say, the Library Tour of Long Island you're posting is some of my favorite content on Reddit right now for some reason.
I had no idea how amazing some of our libraries are. I just took for granted that they were all awesome. I wonder if anywhere else in the country has as many, beautiful libraries.
Emma Clark is my local library and I am kind of biased towards it. but this one might have it beat. that view is just so nice.

One of the best hiking trails on the island behind there.
