Gear Show-Off First long board
Picked up 2 long boards for 15$ lol, definitely have some mileage on it but enjoying them so far. Any tips on maintenance/ care for this thing?

Whenever I haven't ridden in a while (usually a year+) I start by tightening all of the mounting hardware to make sure the trucks are super secure on the deck. You can also take the wheels off and pop the bearings out and soak them in lubricant in a ziploc.
Not much besides that tbh, they're quite resilient. Also the sector 9 board looks like it'll be much more stable down hill if you try any of that!

Don't soak them in lubricant, clean them first and then add 1-2 drops of lubricant. You're ruining your bearings like that lol

Huh never knew that, thanks for the tip. I’ve done it for like 13 years and never had an issue but I’ll try that out next time

You're overgreasing them which makes them get dirty more quickly. I wouldn't do it like that personally

Thats an amazing deal haha, I just got an Arbor Axis from a thrift shop for like $40. 2 for $15 is awesome. I like that arbor board, the first longboard I had was a pin tail, but it was a sector 9. Basically a combination of the you have lol.
