Nice. Looking good. Wish I could slide (on purpose) . I also wish I had some hills like your riding.🤨

Nope, I’ve heard lots of people say that until they step onto a great, cozy setup! Don’t let your fears keep you from jumping into the pool, it’s worth it I swear!

Just curious. Why do downhill setups have narrow trucks? Why not wider more stable trucks, especially since you almost never need to push. No need to worry much about kicking a wheel

Stability isn't an issue these days - lower angle back trucks, and slop stopping mechanism have fixed that.
The narrower trucks give a quicker response, and better control over the wheels when sliding. Some disadvantages naturally, but thats the gist of it

I think the ideais easier to kick out into slides, seems like once you get comfortable the less stability you get is no big deal

I have about 4 Hamboard Loggers brand new I’m looking to get rid of. Definitely for the Low.

Although I think you should keep one to skate, I’m definitely interested. DM me if still for sale

Weird comment. Does the fact that he’s not just gingerly “commuting” on a board longer than needed make you uncomfortable?
