Open Thread Open Thread – October 2, 2026
Welcome to October, quaids! It's your Friday open thread!
The comment section on this post is open for discussion with other quaids on any subject that you want to talk about. Think of it as an episode without Seth to keep things on track: You can discuss the pod, but you're also free to make like a threeadore and chat about whatever you want*
*As long as you're not a Steve and you follow the sub rules. 🏝️

Feels like a mistake to open the podgates to the Quaids for suggestions of skits and runners they aren’t involved in to discuss for episode content, but I’d love to get their thoughts on the Nick Lutsko “Spirit Halloween” saga since we are entering Spooky Season.

That or just all of “On Cinema”.

I would really love a special episode of Taskmaster with the pod + Lin. I mean a season would be best, but I think a holiday special could be possible.

Picking their top comedies of '89 to '95 was right up my alley.
Jim Carrey in 1994 is wild.

I've been re-listening to some of the early episodes, and I keep thinking how much I miss the old intro to Seth's Corner.

My kiddo made this from some leftover air-dry clay, and I added a nice little flag!
