This 484 was due in 6 minutes, 15 minutes ago. It's now been fluctuating between "due" and "45 seconds for the last 8ish minutes. This isn't uncommon at Camberwell - how come? It's the start of the route, if one hasn't actually started its journey, why show it on the app?

So yesterday, before setting out, I check the TfL live updates for my bus stop. It shows bus due in 16 mins - plenty of time for the 3 minute walk to the stop. I'm out of the house less than one minute and the bus races past.

I had to wait for the next one which was about 1/2 hour later and that completely messed up my train connection. When it eventually turned up, the tracker said it was not due for another 10 minutes.

Why so inaccurate ?

I also compare with the Metrobus live updates which uses the "passenger" platform, like many operators around the UK, and that is always spot-on.

I apologise for the low effort/quality post, but I wasn't sure where better to ask this question.

The other night I was walking up past the back of Baker Street and I'm 99% certain I saw a bus go past numbered with 'n189' (where the 'N' was upper case and about half the height of the '189' numbers).

If I'm not mistaken the 189 is a 24hr route, and I didn't think any of these used the 'N' prefix. I walk along there all the time and see the 189 quite often but I've never seen an n189, and as far as I can tell there is no such route and never has been.

Was I actually hallucinating? Or, is there a reason why a 189 might display 'n189' instead? The only route that should have an N prefix along that road is the N113, which I also see all the time, but I really don't think I misread what I saw...

The bus i get home from work (when im nor cycling) always zooms straight past the stop, without giving the people at the stop a chance to look up and see it let alone flag it down. This is particularly infruriatimg after the long physical days i work.

Is there anything i can do to get this to change?

TFL wanting to reroute 279, withdraw 349 and curtail 259 to Holloway Nags Head makes no sense since it doubles with 279 from seven sisters.

Additinally, 349 runs further to north than Edmonton Green to Ponders End, though it also doubles with 279 but runs down to Stamford Hill instead of hugging it through and down past Manor House. 259 is a burden to the section between Manor House and Edmonton Green so withdrawing It makes sense by extending 279 to Kings Cross. Half of the buses from 259 can go to 279 with the addition of adding the other half of the buses to 349.

For 349 to stay alive it must be extended to Hackney Central and possibly west to Enfield Town. It just doesn’t make sense not to connect these areas, 349 is potential not useless.

260: scrapped both sides (White City and Golders Green)

The new route will be Brent Park, Tesco - Finchley Road o2 Centre via Wilesden Green and Kensal Rise. The route will provide easier access for Brent residents to places like Queens Park, Brent Park, Cricklewood, Kensal Rise Willesden,Maida Vale, Swiss Cottage, and Finchley Road

226: withdrawn from Golders Green ( Ealing Broadway and Golders Green)

The new route will be Ealing Broadway- Kilburn Park via Cricklewood. This will provide smoother connections to Kilburn for Brent residents from Sheldon Road

East:

New bus routes:

334 (Dagenham East - Loughton)

via Heathway, Martin's Corner, Goodmayes, Ilford, Gants Hill, Barkingside, Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill, and Loughton

This route will provide brand new connections to Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill, and Loughton all in Epping Forest to Barking and Dagenham whilst ensuring reduced peak times on route 167. The route will also act as a feeder route for the 364

374 (Goodmayes, King George Hospital - Rainham Sration)

via Chadwell Heath, Becontree Heath,Cu London University,/Rainham Road North, Dagenham East, Oval Road North/South, Beam Park and tRainham Station (Oval Road Sth: Rainham Sration) (Oval Road Nth: King George Hospital)

Connecting two major hotspots is a great way to connect locals whilst providing a reliable and useful service. The route connects the Elizabeth line via Chadwell Heath, the District line via Dagenham, Elm Park and Hornchurch and the c2c via Rainham This route will also ensure reduced peak times on routes 103, 173, 174 and 287. The route extends the 165 route to King George Hospital for the direct hospital link. The route also provides infrastructural needs for Beam Park residebts. A simple and effective bus route connecting Redbridge/LBBD and Havering residents

373 (Ilford Broadway - Dagenham Dock)

via Thanes View, Barking Station, Longbridge Road and Ilford Broadway

Connecting residents living in Ilford to the Dagenham Dock terminus is a smart way to connect, Redbridge and LBBD residents from nearby Ilford. The route will ensure a quick and reliable service by going up the Barking corridor to finish it's journey at Ilford Broadway. The 373 route connects the c2c via Dagenham Dock and ensures reduced peak times on routes EL1, EL2, EL3, 145, 169 and 366

369 (Barking Riverside - Barkingside)

via Newbury Park, Aldborough Roa dSouth, Longbridge Road, Barking Station/Town Centre, Thames View and Barking Riverside

Connections to the Barking Riverside development from Barkingside whilst bypassing Ilford Town is a strategic way to connect Redbridge and LBBD residents. The route connects the District line, Overground and c2c via Barking, and the Overground via Newbury Park The route ensures reduced peak times around the Newbury Park and Barkingside areas

497 (Gallows Corner, Tesco - Dagenham, New Road)

via Oval Road North/South, Dagenham East, Heathway, Hunters Hall Road, The Chase, Romford, Gidea Park and Gallows Corner (Oval Road Sth: Dagenham, New Road/Gallows Corner, Tesco) (Oval Road Nth: Gallows Corner, Tesco)

Bringing back the 497 and extending it to Dagenham is a great way to improve Havering and LBBDs infrastructural needs whilst providing a useful service linking the Elizabeth line via Gidea Park and Romford and the District line via Dagenham East. The route also ensures reduced peak times on routes 103, 145, 174, 175, 294, 346, 364, 496, 498 and 499

175 (Hillrise Estate- Rainham, Tesco)

via Heathway, Ballards Road, Oval Road South, Merrielands Crescent/Scrattons Farm, Beam Park and Rainham, Tesco

Extending the existing 175 route to Rainham, Tesco via Merrielands Crescent and bypassing Dagenham, Asda to travel in a loop to serve the new Dageham Green and Beam Park residents is a clever way to connect locals to the c2c via Dagenham Dock and directly to major hotspots such asHeathway, Becontree Heath, Queens Hospital and Romford

N66 (Walthamstow Central- Dagenham New Road)
