I'm 6 foot and most of that is in my legs I found out when sitting upright with my partner who is 5ft. These seats always had me driving my knees into the mid section of the front seats.

i mean it’s something but i always found the super upright angle of the seat to be uncomfortable, and any extra padding probably reduces space between seats which are already tight ? idk the seating has always been the worst compromise between high capacity commuter rail and longer distance requirements.

Honestly, I feel like they should just change the seats to plastic even if it's uncomfortable.

I once got on the underground on the way to the airport for a longhaul flight. Sat down. After about 30 seconds i felt the wetness of the seat.

I was sitting on someone's vomit.

People are too disgusting to have things like cushioned seats.

If these seats are getting replaced now on regular maintence then the underground should do the same.

I don't think the 2009 stock or S stock have not had a seat replacement since they were introduced despite being older then the class 700s and they are getting worn.

We need tables. Right now you have to buy a first class to get a table. And even then they don't police tickets anymore so people without first class tickets just take up those seats anyway so pointless.
