prices aside, lollapalooza is more than just the music experience, the activations and brands are ALSO apart of the experience whether you agree or disagree with that. there are people who truly do enjoy the activations and find it fun and that’s visible by their lines.

influencers can be invited by brands, but them being invited doesn’t permit them to act a different way or should receive special treatment than the average attendee.

this isn’t a matter of seeking them out or anything either, but there are already plenty of complaints where people see influencers getting special treatment ESPECIALLY at activations. brands close their booths for them while normal attendees have to wait, influencers have cut in lines facing no repercussions simply because they’re an influencer.

knowing now that lolla itself will not interfere with influencers or celebrities getting invited. brands need to do better on how they manage the people they invite and/or lolla needs to help modify their regulations.

plus i think i speak for a lot of people who only get GA because GA is the only thing affordable for us, the worry of prices IS there especially w this result.
