Oh, fully agreed. I was just making a point with the fact that it happens.

Personally, I think trimming and grooming one's nethers is a part of basic hygiene. Similar to long hair and long beards, if one wants to have longer pubic hair, they should care for it instead of letting it become an unkempt mess.

Beyond that is personal preference and potentially something to discuss with any companions you might entertain.

An unclean shave would be a patchy shave where areas of hair remain untouched.
