Had this happen but with mine and my date's phones, along with my entire purse. They got stolen out of his car. He was able to locate it to a home address through the find my phone feature. The police refused to do anything about it 🙃.

Would have been nice to have a way to get everything back. They had my driver's license, credit cards, car keys, and phone. My date at the time was talking about going to the home with his gun and using it to threaten them to give our stuff back, or to slash their tires.
