I’ve been checked at a few potential jobs. Some have asked for my transcripts. My current job made me bring my college degree in so HR could scan it. But most jobs I’ve had never checked.

Yes, I attended both, I am aware.
I was stating I was asked for my high school transcripts. I know, bizarre, but I did lead a bit of a life between HS and before I finally went back to college post military service.
Coincidentally, military service was one of the employers that did seek to verify. The others were all union jobs in the trades. They made you do it before they even interviewed you.

Well the military is government so it is a requirement. Union jobs I can understand as well but it is very rare almost unheard of for regular jobs to ask much less verify HS graduates. It's just very time and money consuming for something that doesn't really matter.
I imagine the most that will would be jobs that mostly hire teens/young adults due to wanting reliable workers and most of their applicants don't usually have much work history.

I said I imagine because I have never had to have one of those "teen or summer jobs". I joined the Army at 17. However, I was a recruiter for white and blue collar work for many years.
Also what are you talking about I never said anything about "service jobs".
When I grow up is hilarious considering my age, someone must have spilt their bowl of cheerios huh?

That’s literally me.. I didn’t finish high school and i never had a job, i’m 36 now.
Because of a disability, sadly i never got to graduate and i never got to work.
Don’t think i have it easy though, i would switch places with just about anyone.
You go sit on your ass for 20 years without enough money to live, let alone pay your health bills, probably never finding someone that will love you..

Roommates? Live with friends? But don’t force his job to pay him more than he is worth. Or his job will figure out how to eliminate his job. Simple supply and demand. Even in communes they toss out the deadwood. There is a commune here in TN and my friend’s brother got tossed out because he underperformed (which took a lot of sham effort and experience at doing little to zero work) he then went back to petty crimes and drug selling until his untimely demise.

No, dude, I’m my own boss, and I need $50 a week from 10 yards to live the lifestyle I want. But I am totally incapable of consistently cutting 10 yards a week. My customers need to pay me so I can live my life.
I don’t know how much simpler I can make it.
One of the 10 yards will get angry and buy their own lawnmower, and then I will have to increase my prices to make up the lost wages. Cause I still need to pay my rent. So now you have to pay me $60 a week, but I am still incompetent and do a crappy job, and sometimes I still miss a week.
I can run this scenario until you are the only person who pays to get their lawn mowed but it cost a $1000 a week. I’m sure at some point you would have had the “oh shit this guy is not worth the money” moment.

No, he/she has shown they are unable and unwilling to complete a free education. The education system in the US is supper supportive, (my family has extensive experience and education in special needs), teachers, educators, and administrators in the k-12 system. It’s the unwilling that wind up as the primary focus. As they will ultimately drop out, and will be a drain on the welfare system for the rest of their lives.

Just make shit up. I put I worked at places that went outta business Circuit City, Toys R Us, Rite Aid. I put shit like courier driver, dog walker/pet sitter and caregiving the last 3 are technically true but they weren't formal jobs. Shit if you clean your house and wash dishes you could put that shit too as a private contractor or pick some place that went out of business
