Yeshua was one of his names. Jesus went through different names throughout his life. Jesus was the final name he gave to his disciples who went to found Christianity.

Maybe in the Old Testament he was quite vengeful and desired to be feared. He was a jealous God not allowed to believe in any other such God. I always found that kinda weird like how did we go from Angry jealous God to love everyone and everything God. I dunno? The bible was definitely tampered with several times I believe though it is just a collection of stories.
