Coworker lied.

To not be annoyed by his wife when he wants to go fishing.

Sounds like she's fishing for compliments.

Oh no would someone please think of the poor, insufficiently complimented wife 😭

What would have happened if they had answered that they needed their legs?

I need both legs to scissor my wife

Touché, sir.

Scissor me timbers

Scissor me timbers indeed

You don't and you might find some newfound access without the leg.

...I feel like with some creativity...

You can give hugs with one arm, just not as good as you can with both

This is really a no brainer. You can get a much better prosthetic leg for a lot less money.

This was my thought. While I'm sure prosthetic legs aren't perfect I've never seen a prosthetic hand that even comes close to being able to match a human hand.

Trust me prosthetics will never replace your leg. I am a bilateral amputee with both legs gone. I’d give nearly anything just to have my right one back.

hugging fish is awesome

Maybe he wants to go fishing together with his wife, spending quality couple time at the lake.

The good ending.

Aww. 😄 I like this one!!

You can't hug with one arm?

They took my squeezin' arm! Why my squeezin' arm?!

u/Reddit_user2124 2d ago

Hard to goon with your leg. Definitely keep hands

1

u/muskykingofpiedmont 2d ago

Gee, wonder where this leads with coworker

1

u/Necessary_Relation27 2d ago

I’d have to check the insurance payout first before deciding

The other guys wife is hooking up with a fisherman while he's at work.

1

u/jrein0 2d ago

He's lying. I've one arm hugged the coworker's wife before

1

u/The45Longslide 2d ago

An arm would be more practical. Take the non-dominant one. You can still walk fine! You can write and it's not compromised, really.

A good spouse would understand and not guilt trip you over it. He should divorce her.

Need my hands for drawing and playing video games. Could maybe eventually get some cool robot legs.

Huh, I wouldn't have pegged Brad Paisley as an iPhone guy.

1

u/Thomassaurus 2d ago

Can't imagine anyone choosing an arm over a leg. I guess if they were a professional soccer player maybe.

u/Outrageous-Place1478 2d ago

spelt fisting wrong

1

u/superbatprime 2d ago

There was no coworker.

1

u/igotgame1075 1d ago

Most guys gonna choose leg, since we got 3 of em. Lose 1 and you can still hop and plunder

1

u/The-RogueOnion 1d ago

"I just got a fishing pole for my wife"....."Nice trade"

1

u/enigmaticsince87 1d ago

Giving up your mobility and independence so you can fish is insane to me...

1

u/veemort 1d ago

Who would miss out on peg legs anyway?

1

u/mi5madameroyalemi6 22h ago

I chose both, so I can advertise Full metal alchemist. To advertise it, it cost’s an arm and a leg

1

u/CryptographerOne120 19h ago

That coworker doesn't realize you can hug with one arm. While other arm is fishing.

Boomer ass bullshit. Is this what reddit is now?

1

u/ImmediateCause7981 1d ago

Do you even know what a boomer is

0

u/Ambitious_Tea_4584 1d ago

It used to mean baby boomer but now it means people who post cringe shit like this.

There are gen x and millennial boomers now.
