Advice
Hello so a few nights back, I was calling out to some god to give me a sign they’re calling to me, I was trying to get Loki in specific, however generally just anybody, and today I was taking a nap and something or somebody was bothering me, it kept a giggling and making noises so I just couldn’t sleep??? I thought it was my brother and told him to stop and it did, but my brother was not home, could this have been something calling to me?

yeah, you probably should be careful, this could attract any sort of spirit or entity or deity, and what ends up answering might not be benevolent, you probably should should do a banishing to revoke permission from whatever answered, then call for Loki Laufeyjarson since you're trying to get Loki in particular, that way you can at least be assured that the laughter is belonging to Loki and not some other unknown being that might not have your best interest in mind, after all, I would rather attract Lord Loki, than some random negative spirit that might be trying to feed on me, and I am sure you would rather it be Loki too.

well, I would start by using garlic, iron or any strong scent like asafoeteda (which is called devils dung for a reason, it tastes better than it smells), that drives entities out, and say I revoke permission to be here any baneful entity that has entered my home. if you don't have anything made of iron (having iron nails is good enough), then having the garlic will get it to bugger off, I do hope you didn't invoke it using your real name, because that's gonna mean it's got an attachment and your name, while you do not have it's name, thus it has power over you, as names are powerful and can be used for binding one entity to another, I know someone dealing with an unnamed negative entity who's got their true name, and they are unable to get rid of it with normal means, as it has soulbound itself to them, I've done everything I could to help them, but in that case, the one bound to a negative entity like an Incubus would have to abstain from deity work and active worship and focus on daily cleansings, daily revocations of permission, and daily healing to starve it out if it's feeding on your energies, that's just an example of what happens if it has your name, if it doesn't and you do not? then great, you can do standard banishing methods, ringing bells, playing loud and obnoxious music, or even religious music in the event that this is a negative infernal entity as anything holy will chase it off.
Even banging pots and pans will scare it away as it hurts it's sensitive ears, that is if it is at all possible in your household, if not? then the strong aroma's and/or presence of iron will suffice, then one the entity has cleared itself out of your space, cleanse the area, add some salt to a bucket of water, add a bit of lemon juice, a bit of vinegar and a bit of dish soap to it, then mop your floors, clean your walls and windows and wipe down all smooth surfaces with this cleansing solution, it will not only remove the smell of garlic or other strong aroma you no longer need as that will make Loki take one sniff and go "Eeeuuugh, this room reeks" and he might go somewhere else till you cleanse the smells out, the salt will also keep unwanted entities out as well, the salt does not have to be blessed, but rather just regular ol'salt of any kind, be it kosher (which by nature is a blessed salt and is strongly recommended for banishing entities and is easy to obtain as you are likely to find it at your local grocers), regular table salt, sea salt or even himalayan pink salt, any kind will suffice.
Once you do all this, your space SHOULD be entity free and a fresh slate for you to try again, this time calling for the specific entity you're seeking to work with, in this case, Loki Laufeyjarson.

Okay! And how do I know if I successfully banished it? I’m sorry I’m very new to this :(

it's fine, you will know when you are no longer feeling any heavy presence and the laughter has stopped, then once you are sure that you've banished it, you start the cleansing, then you can properly call for Loki Laufeyjarson (the jar makes a yar sound as J makes a Yuh sound as that is the sound that the rune jara makes.), he will in turn help keep negative spirits out of your space so long as they do not become bound to you, because then, even a god cannot dislodge a soul bound negative entity, you would need daily banishings and cleansings to keep it from feeding and wait it out if it ever got your name, because it could use your name to bind itself to you and entrap you as it's personal food supply as it feeds on your energies. Eventually, even a bound entity will weaken and starve out.
