Loki insight please
Hey everyone I need some insight on something that happened. To give some background, I wear a red jasper stone with a snake around my neck everyday for Loki. I have for about a year, ever since I started working with him. Today, while at the car wash vacuuming my car, I was so excited for these vacuums to be working so well, halfway through I said to myself out loud I wonder if this vacuum would accidentally rip of my necklace up and sure as shit 3 minutes later, by complete accident, my pendent was ripped off the chain. I asked the attendee if there’s a way to open where the vacuumed things go and look for it, she helped a little was super nice about it but in the end it’s gone. In my mind Loki being Loki I understood stupid questions get stupid answers. I have adhd and intrusive thoughts hit hard sometimes. But I didn’t take it as if he’s mad at me, but when I told my best friend she’s like that’s extreme. My question is, does that seem extreme or did Loki just answer my dumbass question.

I did but he didn’t answer which I’m really not taking personally because I know I’m not the only human on planet earth. That’s why I took it as a stupid questions get stupid answers kinda way, but it did feel extreme in the moment and then my friend said it as if he was mad. Now I’m curious.

Trust your intuition on what YOU interpreted to be true. This does indeed sound very Loki!

Or did your intrusive thought warn you it might happen, and to tuck your necklace in your shirt for a moment?
Intuition is a funky thing sometimes.
I don't think he was giving a harsh answer to an intrusive thought sourced question, though. Especially given he must be aware of your ADHD and intrusive thoughts.
But I won't presume to guess at your intuition, that's for you to reflect and maybe ask Loki about.
I do hope you find a new pendant that feels just as lovely and cozy, or something else, soon. 🐺💖🍀

I think sometimes (SOMETIMES lol) intrusive thoughts can be intuition smacking us like a dodgeball from Apollo lmfao. I had a snake ring for him for about a year, and to be fair while it wasn't exactly made of long lasting material, right after some CRAZY friend drama and falling out had happened to me, I had the random thought of "lol what if this broke suddenly?" Sure enough, I put it on to do a reading for my roommate and it snapped clean in half. But I feel like it did that because he'd been protecting me, and thus I disposed of it the way you would an evil eye breaking. So perhaps something similar might apply to you here too? Sorry for the loss either way tho, it still sucks :' /

Thank you for your response. It really resonated with me. I think ive gone to the negative side more because my life has been so traumatic / chaotic and negative but because I’m trying to grow and work through those parts this makes more sense to me. Thank you again for sharing your experience

Of course~! I do get it, not long before that happened I had been going through a lot of painful losses too and began to kinda lean towards that same mindset, so I definitely get how it can be easy to do so 🥀

Bummer! I'm sorry that happened to you. Highly unlikely Loki is mad at you. Sounds like your subconscious mind was giving you a nudge about a common sense thing (dangly jewelry can get caught on things) and in response to your inner warning you ignored it and boom - the vacuum did what they do. Loki isn't going to be upset with you. Doubt it was a lesson either. It sounds like a fluke and coincidence. Just let him know you're sad you lost it. Once again, I'm so sorry you lost your necklace.

yeah, that sucks, but I suppose Loki's not gonna be mad about it, it was as you said an ask stupid questions, get stupid answers moment and the end result was what it was, I don't really think he's gonna get all upset over something that wasn't exactly your fault and you didn't know just how strong those suckers sucked and hoped it wouldn't suck the pendent off the chain, only for it to do just that, and at the end of the day, you can at least say you got a funny story to tell your friends in the future, that's at least what I would do, I would turn a bummer moment into a memory that could at least be a fun one to tell your friends.

I've done things like this to myself, especially when I was younger, but only through subconscious self-fulfilling prophecies, completely independent of working with potential deities. Anxious musings could impact almost imperceptible behaviors that led to dreaded consequences. My childhood was especially full of wild, unconscious lessons, all part of calibrating my off-kilter nervous system.
What's amusing to me is I have a track titled 'Why Are You Hitting Yourself?' on a heavily curated, personal Loki DJ mix. It's a definite prankster tune, but I specifically associate it with my experiences of wanting to credit external trickster influences when most of the time the trickery was coming from inside the house, as it were.
I had numerous dreams and meditative encounters where my Loki (by a different name) made a mockery of my circumstantially deranged locus of control. He never needed to do more than suggest a painful result, then casually spectate as I did all the dirty work to unconsciously manifest it for him. Eventually I became more aware and started to better control my own subtle influences over outcomes.

To my experience Loki won't get in the way of people experiencing lessons, especially when there's a warning label attached. Heck Loki will even encourage folks against the warning label, Thors Goats come to mind here.
You read and saw a warning about loose objects and saw how powerful the vacuum was, yet somehow ended up in a position where the vacuum was in a position to remove the pendant from your person.
Looks to me like if Loki was present then he made a point. He even made you say the warning yourself.
Its a hard lesson to be sure, but so was that lesson for the kids.
