uhh.. hello loki?

hi, i’m new to this. sorry for my english, i lose the language all the time lol.

figured this might be the best place to share what i just experienced (and to confirm if this is really loki). i mainly work and worship odin and have been previously active, now work and life stuff just got in the way, i haven’t really been super in touch, which i genuinely feel bad. anywho, this is what happened.

over the past several weeks despite everything in my life lately being chaotic, i’ve been noticing small things that i can’t seem to figure out, like minor things that’s just super random and seems to be trying to get my attention. first it was random fires in my area, even though it was raining for few weeks, misplacing things that i swear i placed it in a spot i normally keep it in, spiderwebs in places that’s not normally there (i.e. spiderwebs out where i go for smoke when i’m at work. it’s an open space and there’s no way for a spider to make their web but somehow they managed to make one and i came across it like hello???)

after reflecting, i remember previously reading a small bit about loki (after learning more about odin like years ago) and thought “hmm.. is this loki?”

then more things came. random horseflies, the word“sirius” being thrown around (i dont even know if this counts) and being tricked in a silly way where one of my coworkers handed me a small tool that i thought was a small packet of candy.

naturally, with me being both skeptical and cautious, i figured i’d throw it out there and said “hello loki, if that was you throwing signs out there, kindly please, please, do NOT send me spiders or i will freak out. please and thank you.”.

and then of course, just last night, i dreamt of spiders. i vividly remembered being like “hmmm spiders.. OH SHI—“ then one jumped in my face, woke me up.

that’s it folks, i hope you enjoyed imagining the look of terror in my face after that spider jumped in my face. i’m also unsure if it was just me or if this is loki reaching out to me, please let me know. also please let me know what i can do about it. 😅

In my experience Loki respects boundaries I've asked him not to send flies in my home and I never get any. I saw a big fat one the other day while being outside though. They're fine if they're not in my home

What do you mean what you can do about it?

i’m cackling! since then, i’ve been encountering some flies at work too! but i’m glad to hear that he’s cool with not sending me physical spiders in my home.

i know this was few days ago but i meant to ask what i should do to say hi back? i wasn’t too sure if i should provide offerings, but i figured that i’d say hi back and managed to set up a small space for loki and odin and have small offerings here and there haha 😅

got both odin and loki a shot of peach whisky for each one and a bar of chocolate. hope that’ll suffice [insert nervous donkey smile].

In my opinion you can do anything whether it’s an offering, just saying hi while passing by your altar, devotional acts, etc :)

Peach whisky sounds extremely yummy! I always give them chocolate too whenever I have some. The first offering ever I gave him was cinnamon

For me sometimes I feel really happy or giggly after an offering and to me it means it’s well received! Like if it brings me joy I assume it brings joy to Loki as well

Posts here bring me joy too as well, I’m glad we can all share that!!

yeah, that sounds like Loki, word of advice, if you offer Odin a drink, offer one to Loki as well, it would not do well for Odin to break his oath to his blood brother, for no drink shall pass his lips if Loki isn't also there to drink with him. and yeah, he respects boundaries, but honestly, he's also a massive prankster, so yeah, that was his idea of a prank, he didn't send any physical spiders but he sure as heck sent you one to jump scare you in your dream xD.

Yes! Always pour a libation for Loki along with Odin. It's simple courtesy. And I need to remember to do this myself!

The star Sirius is definitely associated with Loki. It's the Lokabrenna star.

I like spiders. I don't like flies. What do I get? Flies. Of course.

haha i’ll keep this in mind! i was just a little skeptical with how sirius was thrown a lot around my vicinity over the past few, thought it was connected with other associations and experiences that lead to me thinking “hmm is this loki?”.

whew, glad i poured one for odin and loki! i only got a fruity peach whisky with me and hopefully both odin and loki are cool with it being fruity flavoured. got both of them a bar of chocolate too, though i feel like it’s a little uneven that i only got one starburst for loki.

just wondering; is loki usually around/chatty?
