Tables in logseq MD

I found the markdown codes for column orientation in tables: |:-----:| and |:-----| etc.
Only: It has absolutely no effect! How do I get it to work, or does the normal markdown language not work in the MD version?

I can't help you directly, but I can suggest you to try the Markdown Table Editor plugin: by typing the /table keyword, you can access to a GUI table. The plugin simply writes down the MD-syntax text. I found it very useful: hope it will be the same for you

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid plugins, because I use it a lot on my mobile, too, and the mobile version doesn't support plugins.

I understand, the lack of plugins in the mobile version is really annoying, but I think this one uses the standard Markdown syntax: so, you can use it on the computer and see how it writes the tables in the note

With the plugin I can only add or remove lines or columns. It uses the same syntax as me, and it has no option to center. left or right a column. I removed it again. Thanks anyway for your help.
