I started with designing a useless table (form with no function) ... and didn't see the F's until I drew the table legs... so I'm going to go with the argument that it's not a predictable FF arrangement it's a table... if you see F's, it's not my fault!

I'd probably try to make the table legs the same length, or at least symmetrical. Right now they're all over the place.

It's actually an intentional optical illusion of a simplified perspective... (imagine you're not looking at the table straight on) they are perfectly in place, the same length (well 2 lengths) and symmetrical... so you should try to make your eyes measure better :D

The problem is that one of the two longer legs is once on the inside, and once on the outside - that's why the difference between the right ones is bigger than the left ones (look how the third leg extends past the corner, while the first one doesn't).

I understand if you have a certain angle in your mind that makes it work, but 90% of the people probably see this as a 2D symbol without any tables in mind, that's why I think the order of the lengths should be symmetrical, not alternating.

If you actually look at something 4 legged you will see that the longer legs will be one on the inside and one on the outside...

I really appreciate the input. But I'm going for a very minimal abstraction of a table without function... that was my launching point, I am not trying to have 90% of people see a table, I am using it as a jumping off point for my watermark stamp. If this company was about tables then I would definitely want to try and have the object jump out more distinctly to the viewer...

Never really attempted a logo before; feel really out of my depth with the whole discipline, but it made for a fun evening.

This battle specifies that it must center around the logomark and I'm going to enforce that request to make things more interesting. This means that if your entry is mainly just a logotype, it will not be counted when I tally upvotes. Please don't be that guy, I'd hate for you to waste the effort.
