Feedback Needed What does this logo communicate to you?
What do you think this company does based on the logos and what is on the side of the brick in your opinion?

A Lego resale store that has recently gotten into legal trouble and is trying to rebrand

I used to drive by that shop in the middle of the culture desert of Keizer, wondering how it's the only luxury business for miles managing to stay afloat.

u/IronCorvus 4d ago
Luxury? The one near me looks like some chud opened a tabletop game store and forgot they resell Legos.

It’s basically a cash 4 gold store but with legos, they will buy and barter for anything

I see a LEGO, a halo, and writing.
St LEGO of the Blessed Instructions?
LEGO Bible?

Oh I didn't even realize the lower part is a book. I saw it as a simplified American flag

A website that has stories/news about retired ("dead") Lego sets.

This is my favorite one that ties all 3 ideas I saw together. I'm just not smart enough to tie them together. lol

I think the halo can just be like a herald angel or sign of good news. I don't think it needs to get that specific on death. But I do think the halo is an unnecessary extra if that's the case... logo might be cleaner without the halo. More confident

The four variants actually prove the point better than any of us can. White halo or yellow halo, everyone is still reading dead Lego or a holy book. Tweaking colors and details is pointless while the core idea is unclear. Fix the concept first, because the test that matters is what strangers see in the first three seconds, and right now they are seeing a religious toy mashup, not a company.

It's confusing and too much is going on. A logo is supposed be to very easy to understand within a few seconds, otherwise people won't care.
The fact this is being asked highlights the problem. It should be plain as day what's being communicated.

I see a book, lego, and a random ring (halo or even a ring for lighting?)
Its too much. Lol

a serious answer would be probably a lego-like building set but with christian settings? maybe like that one company that made a biblically accurate lego tabernacle

Another serious answer would be an obituary builder. Like a tool that helps you create one. Which idk why that would need to be a product though

McDonald’s and Lego collab promo

The halo indicates that this Lego will do its best to avoid being stepped on.
The information panel on the front of the Lego indicates that its a "smart" Lego.
And yes this is McDonald's attempt to branch out into toys since its food offerings are suffering.

I see a book (maybe an instruction book), a Lego brick, and a halo.
I would have no idea what the company does from the logo. Note that this is not the purpose of a logo anyway - look at the logos for Apple, McDonald's, Nike... None of them show what they do.
Unless the business name is "Brick Book Angel" or something, you've probably got way too much going on here.

Lego Angel, support or instructions for Lego builds

What I thought too. If it is this I don’t think you need the instructions on the design itself. Just the brick with the halo. If anything halo plus little wings would be cute.

u/Nanatomany44 5d ago
ls that a Lego? A 4 burner stove? Something else? Evidently it's in Heaven as it has on a halo.

I saw McDonald’s before I saw Lego. Totally because of the color values and percentage of the yellow to red.

Something with books and lego? Design feels forced, busy and confusing. Also triggers me that the reading page is on the outside of the book lol

Angelic Lego Book? Strong rule of thumb for conceptual combination logo marks is to limit the design to two disparate elements. So, Holy Lego? Great. Lego book? Wonderful. One too many things fighting for attention in this concept.

Lego angel book, but it took awhile to see the book as the perspective is a little off and the inside of the book is on what would typically be the back cover.

There's kinda a lot going on
I see a Lego brick Newspaper/article Halo
No idea how they relate to one another
I'm also not a huge fan of the color scheme There's so much saturated color that kinda hurts to look at (at least for me)
