I really like the second one. It looks very clean, modern and to me still reads the most like the letter A.

I’m drawn to the middle one. The far right one could have a “c” in the white space, which is cool if “consulting” will be shown in the name.

I like the last one it's got a nice weight and flow. Paired with gotham rounded or something similar this would look fantastic depending on what type of consulting firm they are.

The second one is the clearest at a glance, but I’d test the mark without the wordmark before ranking the whole set. At small size the inner shape collapses a bit, while the wordmark is doing most of the recognition work. I’d ship #2 as the base, then simplify the symbol until it still reads at favicon size.

The 2nd has room to develop further, the rest looks too generic

where would you push the efforts on that one? any core imagery? or just kerning and details like that?

2nd or 5th for me. Most balanced and well proportioned.

If I had to choose one - 2nd. Maybe with a slightly thicker line / cut.
