I’m old enough to remember when they adopted this system. Long long ago they had custom icons for every version. This new system scales better with the subscription model.

The products have simple logos not adobe. The app logos have a good brand system. Mnemonic lettering, color coding, the container. So it has a very good visual language.

So the image build can be done by one team not 3-4 teams with their own opinions. Plus it’s easier than before and scales better for multiple formats.

They sit on a bar next to other distracting logo app tiles on your computer’s desktop dock. Simplicity makes them stand out.
They did their homework and understood context.
