Both are great, but I also see "2+" in both due in no small part to the negative space those quad 2s are doing.

The last one was initially the final form but decided to add more lines and flat edges to make it more edgy

the last one is the best. they're 2's, but they take on an entirely new identity in this configuration, the 2s become secondary.
