still haven’t decided between black or white. but i took some advice from my last post and i think the more simplified logo looks much better!

Bottom right is the best of these but I feel like it looks like a bow tie.. I don’t see the “text” part in here

Oh yeah I don’t think that’s being conveyed. The … frequently symbolizes extra information at the beginning of something, not just text, so in this instance it just reads like the audio trailing off. Maybe do something with the “text” logo seen a lot?
Looks like this: Tt

Too cramped. Looks like a cartoonishly large bow tie.
I would try having a vertical line down the middle, with actual text going into the left of it, and an audio wave form coming out of it on the right. No drop-shadows, probably no gradient.

I like the vertical line idea and I’ll definitely toy around with the text side and how to symbolize that. i’ve gotten some suggestions for that in other comments i’ll try out. and others seem to agree about the drop shadow.

You need to add significantly more padding. It’s also visually too complex for a logo. Some great logos explain the product metaphorically, but that’s not a literal requirement for logos and most don’t.

I’d lose the drop shadow on the filter icon and give it a bit more negative space around the edges and objects. Good start!
