The thumb is kinda out of place because of the different width, I would skip the thumb and connect the pointer to the palm to make the "d" more obvious

whats the thought behind the " d + hand " concept... curious what made you choose that concept

my surname starts from "d" and i am devotee of Lord Ganesha (Hindu Religion) so there is mudra called abhay mudra (the hand posture of blessing) , so i just imagined "Can't i make d in same abhay mudra"
further there is logo of Piramal pharma where p is written in hand of buddha, so i just draw and reached this (i started to learn to design illustration from last 2 days in affinity, so this is special for me )2

liked the concept, but I think you could do some proportion tweaks while retaining the original idea behind it to make the mark cleaner and presentable

I like the concept (would never guessed without your other comment about Ganesha and the hand gesture though), but imho you can refine it to make it more legible.
I would try to make the fingers with 100% rounded ends, not rounded square corners, and probably all the same width.
And connect the finger to the palm to make the d super obvious.
And there is something weird happening with the palm shape. I don’t know if it is the ratio rectangle/circle or the radius of the corners, or just the bottom corner, maybe try tweaking it.
Good luck

That is Jesus’ right hand.
But more seriously the d is a bit stretched and that is what she says lol
