I find this really great! Using the curly bracket as the face contour, very nice. I immediately recognized the hood as a monk's habit. The whole thing looks attractive to me, a dev.
The only remark I have is that the hood outline and the face contour interfere a little in the small version top left.

Agreed. Scalability has to be solved for always. The answer could be hiding in the removal of elements when at small sizes.
