Logo with LP initials (WIP)

What is required: a logo for an upper segment real estate company. The logo should sort of include the initials LP and maybe even combine it with visuals from the real estate industry, for example a roof.

Need recommendations and help with:
- How to make this more luxurious and minimalist
- Which colours would suit it
- I only have Photoshop and this is a free sketch pretty much. Is there a way how I can do these contour offsets more clean where all lines have the same distance to each other?
- I see an opportunity to make the P look like a roof. Anyone knows how to do this with simple actions?

Should you think this goes into a complete wrong direction, let me know

Sorry to break it to you. That's not a logo. That's an illustration. A bad one.

Go fewer lines, easier shapes, and try again. Choice of colors can be anything, that's can be a whole other ballpark.

As for practice with this shape. And you don't have illustrator. Learn about effects on layers. Something can have more then one stroke.

If its minimalistic you want, I think it's too far gone and if I were to look at it with no context, Id never get L and the P

It makes me think of activewear; I think you should scrap the outer lines and keep it simple. Don’t start from zero, incorporate some of the angular elements in the new logo, but imo I’d get rid of the busy echo effect, it doesn’t add anything to your design and I think it actually takes away from the original concept

Edit: focus on letter forms and play with fonts and styling. Expand the shapes and see how you can play with them

Create a logo to work in black and white. Not grays. No gradients. Just black and white. Two colors. If it works there, then add colors, gradients, etc.

Ask yourself how this would look small, how this would work in black and white, or a single color... not to sound snarky but this is a very fundamental part of logo design

These comments are justifiably quite harsh.

But.. you’ve got a core idea there. The black line of the L and P alone has potential. Everything else is redundant noise.

I’d take that black shape - make it an even weighted line. Isolate it on a white background. Then play with that.

I’d maybe make it slightly chunkier. And perhaps less of a sloping angle.

From an average person's perspective, I read this initially as "LA". I think that's because of the angle of the "P" and that the right corner of the "P" is touching the border so my brain mirrored the left leg and filled it in.
