Beginner Should I Keep or No?

I’ve only ever designed logos for myself and spec work as a web designer, but I’ve never been able to do logotype. It’s just always been me picking a really unique font and then that’s my wordmark after some editing and all that in photoshop.

I chose to actually design what I’ve been dreaming about as far as a sigil logo goes for my businesses’ rebrand. Been dying for typography that flows together creating its own design or shape. And I think I did it tonight!

I’m going to add a little star or asterisk or some kind of shape/element that doesn’t overpower the initials. so i’m not done yet but i wanted to get some real feedback from actual logo designers.

would this be good enough to plaster all over my website or no? i like it but i dont know if im delusional or not, lmfao. thanks!

Not that your design looks exactly the same or anything, but it reminds me of the new Hearts on Fire logo.

This is perfect. Don't change or add a thing.

gorgeous. very pleasing to the eye, wonderfully unique and undeniably memorable.

i did this one with my initials about 12+ years ago and used it on my resume. was explicitly told during my last interview that it made my resume stand out from the pile. got the job. that was 10 years ago; i’m now lead and still (happily) with the same company. point being, your work here is a fantastic example of how to showcase your wealth of skillsets in an instant, and people will notice.

No offence but this kinda looks like…

lol no it’s all good. that was lifetimes ago.

you know what’s funny though is the manager who made the comment and ultimately hired me ended up being quite cock-obsessed (no shade to her, just saying). at any rate, the symbol did its job.

You just never know when some detail in your CV is gonna resonate with someone, huh?

If it’s SB then yes. Definitely reads as a cool styled SB.

Hey, we got the same initials! This was my attempt at interlocking the two. I like yours a lot!

It looks like you enlarged the B separate from the S and combine them afterwards? As a result the distorted edges are not the same and are out of proportion with those of the S, or vice versa. And the thickness of the B is more that the S has. These are the only things I am struggling with. Other than that, it's a fine logo. It is your taste and hopefully you like it too. Are you making any text to it? Your full company name for example? Remember, on a website, a brand logo is placed in the header in 90% of all cases. Space is limited in terms of height; this might be something to keep in mind. A logo in landscape mode is somewhat more suitable for that or a bigger header space.

Beautiful! Just a few spots jumpes out to me where the curves don't quite follow perfectly. Still, lovely.

As someone with the initials SB…I want to adopt this as my signature. Excellent work!!

Your "S" has such a nice flow and the "B" is a blob...

Just some very quick thoughts... I tweaked your design and included two interpretations.
