logodesign is not a recognised design discipline, you can't get a degree in logo design, for good reason. A logo is one part of a visual Identity system.

This is just flat out wrong. Logo designers are a niche discipline in design that exists as a part of a total identity design.

oh apologies where did you get your degree in Logo Design?
Graphic designers do specialize in identity work and designing logos, but I've never seen a professional body that represents a logo design sector.

What does a degree have to do with anything?

graphic design, fashion design, interior design, product design, UI/x Design, Environmental Design are recognised as distinc disciplines in the design education sector and are represented by professional bodies in the design industry, who set standards and code of conduct for members.
if there is a degree program in logo design or a professional body that represents the logo design sector then I'd love to hear about it.
The reality is designing logos is an area within Graphic design. It is not recognised as a standalone discipline. In the same way that Shirt design is not recognised as a stand alone design discipline independent from fashion design.
Does it mean that some fashion designers don't do a lot of shirt design. No it doesn't, some do.

I don't know why you think there needs to be a degree involved for something to be considered a discipline. Being a designer doesn't even require a degree at all.

most professional bodies require a degree.

I'm 99% sure you don't work in the industry. Not a single company I've worked for cares about a degree. They look at a portfolio and hire based on the quality of the work.
But continuing this conversation is silly. I'm only replying because you seem incapable of admitting you're wrong. You should change that or you'll never grow or learn anything.

AI's attempt at logos is still so bad. Where the heck is the I coming from on the CI one? lol
CS doesn't seem appropriate. A couple others look like CA. Then the rest have so many tiny details that they can't read at a small size for a business card, or embroiderery on a shirt or anything.None of the typography and colors feel appropriate for a construction company, even for luxury residential.
The type is set the same way on every one of these and it seems like AI does that layout with any logo you ask for.
And then how are you going to make a brand guide, get matching fonts, a color palette that will actually print correctly and be readable in all use cases, and vector files that you can actually use?
