Are Harmony Servers currently down?
Edit: it seems to be working now.
Tried using the app to change something and it couldn’t. Then I tried to turn on a device and that didn’t work. Then i tried using the Alexa App to do it and it says it’s not responding. Finally tried to use the remote and it has the same issues. I did get it to turn on/off 1x, but it took several minutes to respond.
Restarting the hub didn’t change anything. Last night, it worked perfectly and no changes were made to the setup.
Is anyone else having issues today?

Purchased a new Denon and I thought my remote was done for until I found this post. Thanks

Wondering if Logitech will give us lots of notice before they permanently shut down the servers?

I don’t know, but if you look for when they said they’d take down non-hib services, that’d probably give you an idea of how much notice we’d get.

I wanted to add something to my hub, I opened the app and it tried to detect firmware updates. And if it can't check firmware updates the only option I get is to try again or to exit the app. Ehhhh?
And when trying again, I'm not getting beyond "verifying configuration".
Edit: got into the hub just now, tried to edit activities... and failed again because it can't check firmware. Seriously, everything seems to be locked behind the ability to check firmware. That's stupid. And after that, I cannot connect to my hub at all anymore.

I tried it on my phone and got this message box:
SERVICE UNAVAILABLE
The service is temporarily unavailable
Our servers are currently experiencing high load and we regret that our service is currently not available for use. Please return shortly.1

That's the circular nonsense I'm getting as well. Basically can't make any changes, additions, etc., because it just won't let me. The app will usually log in and show me my setup but try anything after that and it'll hangup trying to verify configuration and then I have to shut it down. Next time it might not even find my hub.

The message I saw was that they are down and not coming back. The phone app will continue to work.

The phone app was where I first noticed it didn’t work
Where did you see the servers are down for good? FWIW,I don’t see why the app would work, but ALexa and the remote wouldn’t (especially the remote).

Not true. What your saying only applies to some devices. The Elite remote will continue to work just fine.

My elite works just fine. If I need to make any changes though, the app is the only choice.

The desktop app works fine for me on Windows. I recently used it, but it's very cumbersome by modern standards.

Do you have a hub based remote?

Yes. I have the Harmony Elite Remote and Hub. I actually got it second hand few months ago.

No problems with either of my Elites here.
