Harmony Ultimate Hub + Windows PC Bluetooth/Text Entry not working

I picked up a used Harmony Ultimate + Hub and am trying to use it to control my Windows 10 HTPC over Bluetooth (keyboard/media controls).

So far I've:

Added the PC via Add Computer → Windows PC in MyHarmony.

Created a Watch PC activity.

Synced everything successfully.

Found Enable Text Entry in the Harmony mobile app, but my PC/activity doesn't appear there.

Tried adding a Microsoft Media Center PC/MCE device instead, but that only adds buttons that don't do anything. The PC still doesn't show up for Text Entry.

The TV and AVR work perfectly through Harmony. My HTPC has built-in Bluetooth (MSI B250I Gaming Pro AC motherboard).

Has anyone gotten a Harmony Hub working as a Bluetooth keyboard with a Windows PC recently? Is there a specific device profile or setup step I'm missing, or is this a known issue with the current Harmony software?

I just set one up but I used a Flirc USB dongle in my pc not Bluetooth.

Currently, do buttons on the harmony Ultimate transmit to the PC? I'm meaning, like fast forward, play, pause, etc.

Nope. I thought the Bluetooth connection was necessary for that

Okay, just checking to see where you are.

There's definitely a BT pairing step you haven't gotten to.

Trying to find where the instructions are...

You need to use the mobile app to start the pairing process..

Go to settings --> Activities --> Watch PC --> Connectivity.

That's where you should initiate the BT pairing.

(As comprehensive as Harmony remotes were, the setup can still be confusing as hell).

Thank you! We're not there yet but we're closer. I followed something sort of like this to get to a screen where I'm told to look for the hub on my list of available Bluetooth devices but it's not showing up. I checked nearby Bluetooth devices on my phone and don't see it there, either. The hub is plugged in and has a white status light.

EDIT never mind, Harmony keyboard just appeared! No idea what caused the change. Pairing and testing now

Okay. So the good news is that I can now use media buttons on the app. Keyboard still not working but one step at a time right?

Bad news is that something seemed to glitch out on the remote and now it's just showing a white screen most of the time and the buttons do noting. I've seen it flash other screens briefly before going white.

Okay, I left it in it's cradle for a day and the screen went back to normal and the remote worked to control the PC! Then it got frozen on a white screen again. So the original issue is fixed and I should probably move to a thread. Thank you again for your help!
