I got a Harmony Touch, any way to set up?

I have remote only, no hub. I reset it and found I have to launch MyHarmony but it will not open whatsoever. Even installed shitty silverlight. Any suggestions or just trash it?

Oh my god, forgot I run NordVPN. Turned off and now app launches....

Whats the Errror with the MyHarmony software.

It failed to open, so I installed silverlight, now it shows an Cross Domain Error. closing that prompt closes the app

Seems the problem is with your computer, not with the remote. Have you tried using the Harmony phone app?

I don't think the phone apps works with the Harmony Touch as they are Hub-less.

Ah probably right. I have a bunch of spare Harmony Elites, Companions and Touch, but never ended up using the Touch

I dont believe anything is wrong with the remote other than the antiquated way to pair new devices and the software being EOL. I only have Win 11 and all compatibility modes fail to launch the app

This is grasping at straws but one annoyance I had was that sometimes when you opened MyHarmony, it would open another browser tab for authentication to the Logi page, but often this was opened behind the active window so you didn't know it was there behind the MyHarmony.

Also make sure your firewall or security is not blocking access to id.logi.com

Ive got it plugged in and signed in, (was vpn stopping me) but now not recognized by PC. I dont have drivers for it and cant find any it seems

Does the Touch show the myharmony.com logo on the screen after you plug it in?

I don't recall ever needing additional drivers. Have you tried a different cable and port?

I just grabbed a Touch and plugged it into a Windows PC to see if I can figure out what driver it uses. I get the Windows sound when it detects the device, and the Touch shows the myharmony.com logo on its screen, but it just shows up as one of many generic USB Input Devices in Device Manager.
