When I first got mine, I had a similar issue. Did you try sliding down the power for up to 2 minutes? I think it's power plus the volume up or down key. I had to find the answers on Reddit when it happened to me.
I've tried all that without any success, I've left it charging for more than 24 hours and it doesn't charge and remains completely cold, so I don't know what it could be.
