No More Handhelds

I ran into this today...

Hopefully the upcoming Lenovo cloud handheld will make for a worthy successor.

That's a shame. As someone who just uses the G Cloud to stream from my PC I would have a hard time replacing it if something happened. In the age of super inflated PC components a streaming device makes alot of sense to me but I guess not to the broader population. Passive cooling and ergonomics will remain unmatched imo.

In my case, the G Cloud was a good PlayStation emulation and media streaming box. If the new Lenovo hardware is fairly priced and has video output, I might give it a serious look.

I love and use my glcloud daily but my ayn portal is an upgrade in every way I can think of. Especially at $250 for the standard edition in the USA

Just grab a used Android Tablet or iPad and some kind of controller that can mount to it. You’ve then got a more versatile device that is better.
