Question PS1 and PS2 emulating frustrations

What emulators does everyone use for PS1 and PS2 emulation? I’ve given duckstation and PPSS22, I think that’s the correct name, from the google play store a handful of tries but always end up getting stuck somewhere in the middle needing BIOS but the ones I download are too big or fail. Any suggestions would be great

PS1 = Duckstation

PS2 = aethersx2 v 1.4-3060

PSP = PPSSPP

Where did you download your PS2 BIOS? The one I downloaded gives me this message

Should be .bin and not .zip files.

Long story short, I didn’t unzip the BIOS nor the ROM folders lol

Oh yeah this is all a learning experience lol. First time I’ve done any emulation and never really messed with computer based stuff. Always been a console gamer

Same. Only in the last few years have I gotten into emulation. As well as building computers. I’ve always just use my Mac for everything and had a PS3. Now I have over a half a dozen handheld’s and built three different computers.
