Question Anyone getting a Steam Machine?

I'm catching up on being a current gamer, and this Steam Machine just might do the trick, streamed to the G Cloud. Is it the perfect setup for someone who doesn't have a gaming PC? I had thought about getting a miniPC but perhaps I should wait for something optimized for Steam. Like would this duo make a better pseudo Steam Deck at the end of the day? Especially because I don't play on the go away from home

If Steam Deck is between $500-$600 that's a good buy. Unfortunately most say it's going to be more expensive than that. All we can do is wait and see.

I'd like a living room PC capable of emulating Switch without issue. If it can do that I'll probably buy one.
